Blue Roan

The Blue Roan is a rare color on horses as well as difficult to breed for because the conditions must be "just right" or else you get another color of foal.

The Roan is a type of coat color in horses that is a mixture of white hairs with a base coat of a different color. In this case, it must be a black base coat in order for it to be a Blue Roan. These two colors mixed give the coat a bluish tint.
